Life around here has been put on hold for the last six weeks. It's just been too hot. When I played cricket, I injured myself. When I tried to go outside, I felt faint. When I left the fan, I had to fight nausea from the heat. Finally, early this morning, the cool change came.
It was too late for country Victoria, however, where 100+ have now died Australia's worst fires.
Just too late.

You should be taken out and FLOGGED my good man. too hot for Cricket..NEVAAAAAR, well saturday it was, so the comp was called off, but we now play a 1 day game this weekend, where once agin, i shall do my Gillie style assault on the poor unsuspecting opposition.
You may note that despite any common sense I posses, I still played. And because of a busted finger, I played in the outfield, which meant I as running after the ball. Which meant I cramped like crazy, which meant I was sunk when it came to batting...
I skipped the next week becuase the cramp was strong enough to feel like a tear...
