Dong dispatches 3 - "The Yak" and more job hunting

The house is now much closer to full order, only the games room and a quarter of the garage to go.

The weekend saw Adelle and I make our first trip away, down to Yackandandah. We did the usual day tripper things, browsing the shops and enjoying nice scones and coffee. We have been on a very low sugar diet recently, and I have been very good, however I did have jam on my scones.

Today has been more job hunting. I am happy with my resume, I've written a complete selection criteria for a job I really want, and I've chatted to a couple of my referees over the last week as catch up, letting them know they may (should!) be fielding job calls soon.

Dong Dispatch Two: Job hunt

The last week has been all about that joyous game, job hunting.

I have:
wrestled my resume into rough shape
published a resume website
made a seek.com profile
made an application for a local university position

If anyone wants to offer me a good job, I'd be forever grateful. Job hunting bites.

I put my second card in to get my golf handicap, and had my round with two of the same guys as last week. Lots of fun.
