Back in the saddle

I was going nuts, and had to declare it a bit early, but it's official - I'm back to being able to exercise. I'm starting gentle, with skills and drills with SCA, a bit of running around with Jugger, playing down the order with cricket when out and about. I'll also be doing boxing and weights at home.

My aim is to not fight SCA heavy until Valentines - just to do skills and drills over the Summer heat, and hope it has cooled down enough by February. I would like to have a clean festival - good equipment, good fitness, etc so I can do a good job of Festival Marshal.

And being fitter in general is a great thing.

Good on you. Just take it a bit easy for a couple of weeks and you should be fine. I am in a similar situation myself. Just doing what I can and then adding 5%. This results in a little slower recovery but it beats busting yourself again.

Cheers,

Henry

Yeah. My 'bull at a gate' attitude to everything isn't the best for injury recovery...
