Soundwave 2010 was good fun. The weather was scortching, but so were Placebo and Jane's Addiction. Faith No More were headliners, and with good reason - a great set, Mike Patton was prowling the stage, and the music was tight. They played with the crowd a bit, starting with a 70's lounge version of 'Re-united". Later they played a couple of songs over each other, and the undercurrent song was 'popcorn.' I got the joke and new the music, so was screaming along with Mike, but I think it was just the two of us :) Lots of people thought I was a freak (they are sorta right) but then patted me on the back when they realised I was correct :) Every song you would have wanted was there, and the final 'We care a lot" was AWESOME.
Getting to the car at 11pm, then taking till 1.15 am to clear the carpark, and getting home at 4am was less awesome, but well worth it. My eyes are burning, but I have no regrets.

FNM would have been very cool. Jane's Addiction were so-so at BDO a few years back, but I think I was mostly pissed off they refused to play 'Been Caught Stealing'.
Couldn't agree more. The look we got up on the hill as C & I started singing along to Popcorn were hilarious. We shared your car park pain. Useful parking marshals would have rocked.
My Mum played a lot of 4BC as a child, so I also knew "Reunited" for the chorus, but not the versus. I only knew that I knew it :)
